The prerequisite to begin this training is a bachelors degree. Graduate hours may be obtained for attending this training program through Midwestern State University. Turbo Start: A Dyslexia Curriculum for Newly Identified Students provides a jump start for newly identified students of all ages with dyslexia who need comprehensive dyslexia intervention while awaiting placement in an intervention group.
The Multi-sensory Math Course is for teachers who are working with students who suffer from dyscalculia. This course enables teachers to teach these students from learning basic addition, subtraction through algebra classes. This is a two-day course and is also presented on an as requested basis.
