The James Phillips Williams Memorial Foundation would like to invite you to help continue the vision that Dr. & Mrs. Harvey Williams began in 1985 “to build a Learning Center for children and adults who suffer from dyslexia and other learning differences.” For 35 years the Foundation has served individuals with learning difficulties by providing teacher training in specialized programs. The program used now is called Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia, which is considered by experts to be the most effective instruction available. THE JPWMF is proud to have provided these specialized training to teachers across the state impacting literally thousands of children and adults all these years.

In 2004, the Board of Directors embarked on a dream of the Williams family to purchase a permanent home for the James Phillips Williams Memorial Foundation. The goal was met in August of 2004. In 2020, the Board of Directors voted to expand the current facility by working towards the purchase of the property next door to our office for expansion. The property located at 409 W. Washington Drive has been recently renovated and will offer much needed space for growth and expansion of the programs.

We need your help in raising funds for this vital resource to the Concho Valley and surrounding West Texas communities to continue to grow. Every dollar raised in the community greatly enhances our success in securing these funds. The amount needed for this purchase is $220,000.00. Could you please help us reach our goal of $220,000?
