Dyslexia: Identification of Older Students

Morning session will concentrate on the high school student and beyond. Attendees will be given case studies and will have the opportunity to share their own personal ex-periences with older students. The im-portance of characteristics, past and current history of the student, and past and current evaluations of the student will be ad-dressed.
Afternoon session will concentrate on spe-cific tests and/or subtests to administer to the older student to determine rate and flu-ency, the two most important outcomes of dyslexia for the older student. Specific tests, such as the GORT-4, will be studied.
