Build Training: A K-1 Early Reading Intervention This invention is to meet the needs of the K-1 Students who have been identified as at risk for dyslexia, the staff of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital has developed a 100-lesson reading intervention called Build. Build is a small group intervention that addresses five specific components of reading intervention. Each component is taught developmentally using a direct, systematic, cumulative, multi-sensory method of instruction and practice to meet the specific needs of kindergarten and first – grade students struggling with reading. This is a one day training.

Costs: $650 – Build K-1 Downloadable kit, additional physical items needed: $100 both purchased from Texas Scottish Rite Hospital

Instruction and Tuition: $250/teacher purchased directly from JPW Learning Center
