More information
Noon to 12:45 p.m. – Tricia Quisenberry from The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital will provide Parent 411
6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m., Jennifer Huff from LEARNING ALLY will share tips and techniques to ensure your children are utilizing audiobooks to their fullest capabilities. The Texas Education Agency has provided funding for K-12 public and charter school students to have free access to the Learning Ally Audiobook Solution which is high quality, human-read audiobooks. We know your child may struggle to read due to learning differences, but they are able to comprehend information above their ability to decode words. With Learning Ally audiobooks, we bridge this gap with human-read books. As a result, now struggling readers can access and absorb books they want to read or need to read for school. Learning Ally helps your kids, regardless of grade-level, thrive in the classroom and beyond. Our books can provide confidence that improves all aspects of life.
