The meal is being prepared by Chef Ali De La Fuente of Bentwood Country Club.\nThe Cook Book being showcased during the evening meal is A Taste of the World Celebrating Global Flavors by Rowena Scherer, who will be at the dinner. Each course is prepared from recipes found in this book.\nThe wine pairings have been selected by wine sommelier, Silouan Bradford, of Saint Tryphon Farms and Vineyards of Boerne Texas. The wines will be available that evening for purchase through orders.\nCourse 1: Spiced Sliced Beef with Tahini Sauce and Pita, paired with a Sparkling Rosé of Tannat called Ta’Nat.\nCourse 2: Maryland Crab Cakes on a bed of greens, paired beautifully with a dry white wine, The Albariño, named Cuvée Clarence.\nCourse 3: Swedish Meatballs with Pickled Cumbers and Mashed Potatoes, perfectly paired with a Cinsaut, a single varietal light red named Alina.\nCourse 4: New Orleans Style Chocolate Bread pudding with whiskey sauce, finished perfectly with a new release Merlot, a Tasting Room favorite.\nThe cookbooks will be available for sale at our event for $30 each.\nCost:\n$150/seat\n$1,200/table for 8\nAll proceeds benefit the JPW Learning Center programs.\n
